Public Debate: Women in the Media

These are just some of the issues and topics that will be covered in the public debate "Women in media: gender stereotypes and discrimination," held on 6 December at the Mediacentar Sarajevo.

Šeki Radončić Wins SEEMO Award

At the award ceremony held at the Mediacentar Sarajevo on 27 November, journalist Šeki Radončić was handed the SEEMO Human Rights Award for exceptional contribution in the fight for human rights. The ceremony was a part of a meeting of investigative reporters from B-H, organized by the South East Europe Media Organization (SEEMO), Mediacentar Sarajevo and Investigative Journalism Center (CIN) from Zagreb.

Participant of Mediacentar Sarajevo Program Receives UNICEF Award

Branislav Grković won a UNICEF award for reporting on children and children’s rights for an investigative story on the distribution of child pornography over the internet in Serbia. This is the second award for a story that was created during an educational program implemented by Mediacentar Sarajevo.
